WNAA Summer Exhibition

Wells nex the Sea, by Maxine Byron (Winner of the Syd Davison Award, 2016)

July 22 to August 5
Open daily 10.30am–4.00pm.

Now in its 16th year, the West Norfolk Artists Association draws members from all over West Norfolk and beyond.  With more than 100 active artists, they produce work in a myriad of different mediums and styles, both traditional and contemporary.

Some members enjoy constructing art works from found and recycled objects, while others work with textiles and glass and ceramics, and there are several keen eyed photographers, who observe life in a different way.  Whilst Watercolours, oils, acrylics and pastels will always be a favourite way of expressing artistic ideas, this association is noted for “thinking outside the box” and bringing the unexpected to the public.  Traditionally, visitors are asked to “vote for their favourite” and this results in an award for the Artist, and a very welcome voucher for the visitor. Whether you are a regular visitor or coming for the first time, you are in for a treat!!

Make this an opportunity to admire the creativity of the Artists, and take in the beauty and atmosphere of the Chapel.
