Summer Exhibition in Retrospect

With work submitted by 68 artists, the curators, Maxine Byron, June Cunningham and Val Philpot were given the arduous task of putting together The West Norfolk Artists Association Summer Exhibition, the largest exhibition hosted by the association, held at St. Nicholas Chapel and shown in conjunction with the Kings Lynn Festival. From the positive visitor’s feedback, we congratulate the curators on a job well done.  (photos by Lydia Haines and David Ashfield)

Many thanks to the 1600 visitors who called at St. Nicholas Chapel to see the exhibition.

Congratulations go out to this year’s award winners:

The “People’s Choice” was David Hunt’s picture Air Raid.

The recipient of the Ingar Millar Cup chosen by the WNAA committee went to Louise Stebbing for her Lino cut Tulips in Norfolk. The cup is passed on to the new winner each year. Last year’s winner Alan Castleton received a certificate to commemorate his win.
