The Preview

Thank you to ‘Nick the Mayor’, Councillor Nick Daubney, for opening the Autumn Exhibition. Nick commented on the importance of having an artistic community locally. He spoke about the Cultural Health of the town of Kings Lynn, and how important it was to encourage the arts in a community. He commented on the history of the Fermoy Gallery and what a great space it is to show artwork at its best. He showed a great interest in the items that the public took part in for the Heritage Open Day, watching Tom’s video and admiring the banners and silks. He thought it had been a very successful day.

The Exhibition

In this year’s Autumn Exhibition, 73 artworks by 47 artists were shown. Work that was created by visitors to Heritage Open Day was exhibited in the foyer.
