Colin Mason

Oil and Acrylic Artist

As a skilled oil and aviation artist with an extensive aviation background in both military and civil fields, I have had a great opportunity to paint aviation and other subjects for over 25 years. Other subjects include landscapes, seascapes, the figure form, and flora. Commissions include an Austin Healey 3000 in the Alpine Rally, a Bugatti at Le Mans, HMS Bulldog, a Coat of Arms and paintings for a children’s nursery.

I have worked extensively with the military charities helping them raise much needed funds, by donating my work and commissions for their many worthwhile causes.

I have my own home studio and gallery in our landscaped garden surrounded by hornbeam, hazel, sycamore and copperbeach trees in the tranquil village of Oxborough, West Norfolk. It is but a stones throw from the National Trust property Oxburgh Hall.

My studio is where I hold art courses for those who wish to start their journey in this terrific medium, and for those who wish to just refresh themselves. The ambiance and atmosphere is very conducive to stimulating the imagination and encourages one to just paint.

If you would like to visit my studio and gallery, book an art lesson/course, or to discuss a commission please email or call me on the contacts listed below.
