I have always had my own camera; however, it is only in the last ten years that I have become more interested in the technical and compositional aspects of photography. Three years ago, I successfully completed an Open University Digital photography course. In 2018 I submitted a panel of ten images to The Royal Photographic Society at Bath and was awarded a Licentiateship (LRPS).
My husband Mike and I enjoy expanding our photographic knowledge and skills by joining photographic workshops and courses and exhibiting our work locally and nationally.
I am attracted to the picture within the landscape. In addition to traditional photography, by using long exposure, multiple images and intentional camera movement, I try to convey my emotional response at the moment when I made the picture.
