Artist's Statement

Hello, I’m Jackie Marsh, a self-taught artist. Originally from Lancashire, now living in Norfolk with my husband and our two dogs.

Creating art has taken me on a wonderful life journey experimenting in different mediums to produce colourful expressive art.

Inspired by the surrounding countryside, I love to paint landscapes and seascapes using bright colours in a relaxed style. Nowadays, most of my art is mixed media, using watercolours, inks, pastels and acrylics, creating art onto wooden boards and protecting with a wax finish.

I also do pastel portrait commissions. My art has sold to customers in the UK, Europe and USA.
