Your Own Page in the Members' Gallery

All full members of the West Norfolk Artists Association are entitled to their own individual page on the WNAA website. Your page will remain on the site as long as your membership is current and you can ask for images or text to be updated whenever you wish. This is a free service provided by the WNAA.

Your page will be set up for you by Stephen Martyn, who administers the website. Please read the following information carefully, and supply your images and text to Steve either by emailing them to stephenmartyn@gmail.com or on a CD or memory-stick, by post to Stephen Martyn, 2 Alexandra Close, Dersingham, King's Lynn, PE31 6YU. If you have any difficulty doing this please contact Steve by email or telephone him on 01485 541333.

Your text

The information that you wish to appear on your page should be supplied either as a Microsoft Word document, or as plain text in the body of an email.

Please keep the text to a reasonable length, a maximum of approximately 300 words. If you wish, you can include a list of your qualifications or achievements. These lists should be brief (no more than ten items) and only contain information that is relevant and likely to be of interest to visitors to your page.

Contact information

At the bottom of each member's page there is a space for contact information. Put in as much, or as little, as you wish. Some members include their postal address, telephone number etc. Others prefer only to include an email address. It's entirely up to you, but please indicate your preferences.

If you have your own website or social media page, a link to it can be placed on your page on the WNAA site. It would be appreciated if you would, in return, link from your site back to www.westnorfolkartists.org

Images

A maximum of six images of your work can now be displayed on your page. These will initially display as square cropped thumbnails, but clicking on any one will open the full image at a fairly large size, up to 700px on the longest side. For this reason, when sending your images they should be at least that size. If in doubt just make sure thay are sent at the full size that they come from the camera and Steve will size them for you. Images should be sent as jpg's, preferably as email attachments, or by post on a CD or memory-stick. See above for Steve's contact details. If emailing images, the total file size of attachments to any one email should not exceed 20Mb, otherwise they may be rejected.

With each image supplied, you should provide the name of the work, medium and, if you wish, width and height. These details will be displayed underneath each image on your page.

Slide show

The home page of the WNAA website features a slideshow of members' work. One of your supplied images will be selected to be used, but if there is a particular image that you wish to show please let Steve know. Note that all slideshow images are cropped square.
