Sharon Wright

Painter

I paint because I have to, anything that inspires, but what takes my interest mostly are people in all their guises, the snapshot, if you will, of folk about their daily business or pleasure. I also enjoy lifedrawing and more formal portraits. I love the North Norfolk coast, with its endless sky, beaches and boats, and of course its people.

I am happy to consider commissions of any sort, but would like to say that oils and charcoal are my preferred mediums.

I have work in private collections in France, Canada, England, Scotland, USA, South Africa, and one piece can be found in Queen Elizabeth hospital, King's Lynn. I have appeared on television twice and have won several local prizes, including the Syd Davison best in show at last year's WNAA annual exhibition.
