\nThis year the Nar Valley Open Studios showcases 14 accomplished artists working across a wide range of contemporary and traditional disciplines. 11 are set along the Nar Valley where the trail winds its way through the wide vistas of Blackborough End in the west, to Pentney and along the chalk stream eastward to East Walton, West Acre and onto the charming historic village of Castle Acre. North of this are 3 further artists in the village of Grimston; known for its history as a major 11th\u201316th century pottery production centre.
\nThe event offers visitors a rare opportunity to step inside artists\u2019 studios\u2014many not normally open to the public\u2014providing insight into creative processes, materials and inspiration. Visitors can meet the artists, discuss techniques, and purchase work directly from the makers.
\nThis talented bunch range from painters and printmakers, sculptors and ceramicists, jewellers, glass and mosaic artists – an impressively skilled and varied group.The studios will be open weekends and selected weekdays from May 23rd to June 7th.

\nIf you are the walking kind then our Nar Valley offers many opportunities: The Nar Valley Way is a 33 mile long walking route meandering along the River Nar from King\u2019s Lynn to Gressenhall, and for those less adventurous the The Queen\u2019s Platinum Jubilee or West Acre Way route that takes you on paths through the West Acre Rewilding and circular routes around Castle Acre and the Priory.<\/p>\n
