\"\"<\/a>Dear Members of West Norfolk Artists Association<\/p>\n

On behalf of the patients, their families and carers who benefit from our services, I would like to thank you for your very kind donation of the artwork which was selected at your Summer Exhibition. I was delighted to be asked to attend and I really enjoyed looking at the exhibition. We are very lucky to have so many talented people living in West Norfolk. After much deliberation I selected a piece of work by Lydia Haines as I knew that the style and colours would fit in well at the Hospice.<\/p>\n

We did not hang the painting straight away as we wanted to take time to decide where it would fit best in the building. I am delighted to say that the lucky winner of the fabulous piece was our Day Therapy Unit (please see enclosed photos). This room is used on a daily basis by several patient groups ranging from physio, gardening therapy and our Living Life Creatively group. We also hold social groups such as Monday Morning Meet Up and drop in sessions such as Dementia Carer Support groups.<\/p>\n

The is committed to providing outstanding care for people in the local community living with life-shortening illnesses and to their carers, family and friends, including bereavement support.<\/p>\n

The support provided is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way ensuring dignity is maintained throughout.<\/p>\n

Care is delivered at the Hospice\u2019s purpose built facility in Hillington, either in the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Unit or via one-to-one sessions at the Hospice. Care is also
\nprovided in people\u2019s own homes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Care is always provided without charge. The current services cost over \u00a32 million per year to run; the NHS funds only 35% of this, with the majority coming from the support of local groups, businesses and individuals.<\/p>\n
