Artist's Statement

I am an amateur artist and have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. After joining a local art club I started using pastels which are my preferred medium. I have recently tried my hand with acrylics and love the bright colours they provide. In fact I have worked in most mediums but always return to my pastels which are perfect for the animals and birds which are my favourite subjects.
