Artist's Statement
I moved to West Norfolk several years ago after a long and busy career working in London. I am mostly self taught and love to produce contemporary landscapes and waterscapes, both real and imaginary, inspired by the ever changing moods of nature.... such as sunlight glistening on water, or the magic of shadows and clouds moving silently over sunlit fields and meadows. I also enjoy painting flowers and gardens, and like to use a wide variety of mediums such as watercolour, acrylics, oil, and both chalk and oil pastels in my work. Much of my inspiration comes from the wide, expansive skies of Norfolk, and from holidays spent in the Lake District, Scotland, and the Alps.
