Artist's Statement

Born and raised in Kent, David Jarrett attended Medway College of Design and Central School of Art before spending a number of years as a freelance textile designer. Having not painted or drawn for pleasure for over 30 years, his recent move to Norfolk has provided the opportunity to get back to the drawing board and he draws and paints for fun whenever he can.

Colour remains his biggest pre-occupation and he is currently working on several series of photo realistic pencil drawing and abstract acrylics. All works are originals and for sale unless marked as sold.
