Artist's Statement

I am inspired by many sources but primarily by a love for the county of Norfolk with its huge skies and beautiful beaches. I gather inspiration from the world around me and my love of animals especially two donkeys who I visit with treats every day.

I work with many different mediums – acrylics, oils, pastels, watercolours and enjoy experimenting with collage using different tools and materials – basically anything I can lay my hands on! Most of my work has been in a realistic style but lately I am working on some loose, intuitive abstracts. I like to tackle a wide variety of subjects.
