Artist's Statement

I have lived in West Norfolk for 26 years. I took up art in 2020 after retiring from my work as a professional musician and teacher and working in complementary therapies. I am currently doing an Art and Design course with Art Academy East in Norwich and so regularly work in a variety of media and genres. I'm particularly drawn to both real and imaginary landscapes. If I had to choose a preferred medium it would have to be oils.

I also enjoy pet portraiture in pastels and life drawing/portraiture in charcoal and graphite pencils. I am currently taking commissions for pet portraits in pastel.
