Artist's Statement

Nevine is a contemporary artist inspired by the world around her.

Originally from London, she worked as a successful creative marketing executive all over the world and since moving to Norfolk 3 years ago, paints full time after completing a Diploma in Contemporary Oil Painting. She is inspired by nature, seascapes, big skies and beautiful landscapes locally and from her travels globally. Her creative style evolves as the process of painting begins, an intuitive approach comes into play using a limited palette. Instinct, colours and composition then guide the direction of her work, often with many layers of paint, glazes, expressive mark making and impasto.
