Artist's Statement

Norfolk Born, I’m a self-taught artist and printmaker living and working in West Norfolk. About eight years ago, after writing professionally for more than twenty five years, I rediscovered my love of colour, texture and design at a two hour rag-rug workshop. Since then I have gone on to explore mosaics, glass, hand made felt, textiles, papercuts and print-making.

Working from my own sketches and photos I tend to be inspired by the same subjects, developing the ideas using different techniques. I love the coast and country, gardens, birds and the rich colour and chaos of domestic life.
