Port-2-Port is a pair of connected art exhibitions that forge new cultural links
between what were once two great ports. In medieval times the two port towns
of Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn were major players in English seaborne
trade, the former broadly facing the Low Countries and also focused on fishing,
the latter facing the Hanseatic League ports in the Baltic and with onward trade

Our annual Summer Exhibition at St Nicholas Chapel, King’s Lynn was a little later than usual this year, due to the Chapel not being available for our usual King’s Lynn Festival slot. However, we still had plenty of visitors to the show and there were good sales of the exhibited works.
You can get an idea of the exhibition from this short video produced by WNAA committee member Chandra Ward. Thanks to all the Association members who took part, to the many visitors and to the Churches Conservation Trust who made the Chapel available.
On her first attempt to be selected for the Annual exhibition of the Institute of East Anglia Artists, Helen Breach was successful with one painting.
Helen’s painting ‘Back View’ marked a return to oil paints, a media she hasn’t used for many years. Unfortunately, the exhibition, held at Picturecraft in Holt, has now finished (it was on from 20th – 31st October) – you’ve just missed it!
Here you can see a few of the events and exhibitions that formed the 2016 programme for the West Norfolk Artists Association.
