Experimental Watercolour
Ann Froshaug
Saturday morning 29th July 10.30 am to 12.30pm

Experimenting and trying new approaches in using watercolour is an exciting way of discovering the huge potential of painting with watercolour. In this workshop we will take old and new techniques and build and explore these using different papers, varied sized brushes and paint applications.Through experiment and understanding you will find out more about your style and be able to ‘read’ other watercolourists better. All materials provided but do bring your own too.

Create Your Own Art Rubbings
Esther Boehm
Sunday morning 30th July 10.30am to 12.30pm

Every stone, every crack and crevice is alive with the story of St. Nicholas Chapel in King’s Lynn. With rubbings we will transfer these surfaces onto paper. When we have gathered samples using various drawing materials, we will set about to create our own collage to express what we have discovered. There are also some real hidden treasures in St. Nicholas Chapel in King’s Lynn and I’ll give you some clues to find them. Final works will be exhibited in the church.  All materials provided.
